Customer Overview

The travel-sim agent is a service provider that provides international travelers with a local or international SIM card, often with a pre-paid plan that includes data, calls, and text messages. This service is designed to help travelers stay connected while abroad without incurring high roaming charges from their home network provider.


Challenge

Start from the simple resell service from local operator, with the growing of the business, there are more and more challenges in its daily operation:

  • Difficult to manage Sim/eSIM resources manually. They can only sell the one-time SIM without automatic activation, suspend and recycle process of the Sim/eSIM, no recurring income

  • Only can follow the price plan from MNOs with little commission instead of configuring its own price plan to end customer and settle with MNOs in wholesale price or data pool

  • Lack the business report to monitor the business and adjust the business in real-time

  • Difficult to connect mutiple MNOs and provide the seamless roaming service for customer


Our Solution

Veris as-a-service running in AWS provides the whole lifecycle management of the MVNO service for customers.

  1. Onboard and launch the business by registering in Veris. Veris create a tenant for this customer and setup his price plan and business process according to his service

  2. Connect to different MNOs in different countries and setup the wholesale agreement and provide the seamless service all over the countries

  3. Provide the recurring service by managing the whole lifecycle of the subscriber

  • Setup the connection with MNOs and launch the business in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Korea, Japan in the first batch

  • Reduce the churn rate by providing the recurring service for customers
