Customer Overview
The enterprise is a government organization with different departments cross the city. For security and high efficiency reasons, they would like to build their own private 5G network to provide the communication service for internal user.
Challenge
Customer is looking for a Business Operations Support System (BOSS) solution for Next Generation Communications System project which can provide user management and business management functionalities to support services such as mobile broadband, voice, and SMS for users and manage various aspects of the system effectively. To deploy the Veris Cloud BSS, which includes customer management, product catalog, service provisioning and usage management modules to customers' local private cloud and setup the process for:
Manage the customer including department and users
Manage and define the service plan for each department
Connect to 5G Core for network service provisioning
Setup the Fair Usage Policy to control the budget of the different departments
Reserve the charging capability for customer to plan its future business
Outcome
A centralized platform for users to do service provisioning, rather than configuring parameters in different NGCS network elements one by one
Manage all customer profiles and information in the centerlized platform and connect to third party systems, for example from Microsoft Excel, LDAP interface, ESMTP interface and other proprietary interface for unified user management
Monitor and manage the budget of the departments with reporting function and FUP policy control
Build the charging capability for the potential business to facilitate the 5G service to external user
